As we come to the end of a fantastic summer for Holotronica we flash back to one of the exciting events we have been involved in. Back in May, the box office smash, How to Train Your Dragon 2 launched internationally. Working with the epic team at Feed Me Light, our MD Stuart Warren-Hill flew out to Sao Paulo to install a 15m Hologauze for the Universal Pictures launch event. The Sao Paulo cityscape shone beyond and showed off the unsurpassed brightness and transparency of Hologauze. The installation used 8 x 20k Lumen stacked projectors and the the Hologauze was installed using catenary wires attached to the vaulted roof frame.

Feed Me Light came to our city’s amazing Bristol Beacon so we could run content tests on the Hologauze. Our old studio in Paintworks was not big enough to hang the 15m by 10m Hologauze we were going to use for the event.  The incredible stage, state of the art grid and excellent tech support staff meant rigging the Hologauze and Panasonic RQ35 was a super slick and straight forward.
