We were delighted to collaborate with our friend, the world renowned sculptor, Ivan Black and The Common’s production manager Steve Bedlam to create Kinetic, a brand new concept venue, at Glastonbury Festival. Ivan Black’s kinetic sculptures can be seen around the world and were the inspiration for the venue. They were exhibited beautifully in the space which was programmed by Steve Bedlam and augmented by Holotronica’s installation of 2 large circular HologauzeREAR® as well as a 3m circular projection installation outside the venue. The installation was visualised in 3D by Simon and built by Holotronica with the expert help of The Common production crew. The holographic content was created and operated all weekend by Stuart and Holotronica’s newest team member Laura. The carefully curated music, holographic effects and breathtaking sculptures drew crowds of astounded festival goers all weekend.
