Holotronica are delighted that Hologauze® was used for Olivia Rodrigo’s performance of ‘Drivers License’ played live from The BRIT Awards 2021. Holotronica worked with Blackout Limited, who created and rigged a 3 sided cube of Hologauze®, which had been specially designed without visible corner edges. Utilising 18m x 4.5m of Hologauze®, the design allowed for multiple surface planes giving more depth and camera angle opportunities. Chris Saunders, Managing Director of Broadcast and Event Specialists, Ogle Hog, led the project. Ogle Hog deliver band specials at large events, and have been instrumental in delivering similar innovative projects for the BRITS for the last 26 years. Tawbox led the creative, with Luke Halls Studio utilising the talents of Catherine Woodhouse to produce the intrancing butterflies that flew around Olivia Rodrigo. Holotronica were pleased to play a part in such a magical result.
