Holotronica collaborated with Fray Studio to produce a revival hologram of the late Abdulhussain; beloved cultural icon across the gulf region. The show, a musical celebration of his artistic and political life and work, was produced by Scene Productions and Ammonite Studio. Abdulhussain appeared in Holographic form and spoke to the audience during the show.
Holotronica provided a 3m by 2m Hologauze for the hologram, DarkMat® light cancelling system and produced the content in collaboration with Fray studio and world class media synthesis from StudioNeural. DarkMat® was invented and developed by Holotronica and rolled out at the start of 2024. It is a flooring and wall system for holographic production that has revolutionised Hologauze installations. There is no longer the need to hide the secondary image with a variety of lighting and installation techniques as the 95% of the lightspill is cancelled. It is utilised in our incredible Holoporter® and is currently being developed further to be used with other display systems. More exciting innovation to come for 2025.
