Executive Creative Director, Stuart O’neill, met with Holotronica at ISE in 2024 to discuss Hologauze® for Merlin Theme Parks. The first Hologauze® installation went live in May 2025 in the Demon’s Crypt ride, Heider Park Resort. The demon in his crypt is made so terrifying through the perfect combination of the detailed set design, atmospheric lighting and Hologauze® projection. Heider Park is part of Merlin Entertainments and the largest theme park in Northern Germany. The holographic effect® sets the scene with the eerily realistic sequence that perfectly establishes the mood for the ride ahead. The effect brilliantly jump scares visitors and heightens the anticipation and suspense.
