This February, our friends at Studio Giggle were producing a film to introduce the UNESCO conference on the theme of the power of the internet. We were asked to design and install projections to allow in-camera effects to immerse the poet performer within the animations. For this we used a rear projection screen, a raised stage and a 4.7m x 3.8m Hologauze at the front. All measurements were calculated in 3D which made for a quick and precise installation.

In addition to the design and installation of Hologauze and digital projections, the team at Studio Giggle asked us to design and control the playback system to present the animations they had designed. For this we used VDMX and Mad Mapper to build a customised media player that allowed for live triggering and therefore a more natural flow to the performance led by the poet.
